Background

Our client, a major global oil and gas company, were looking for an improvement in recruitment delivery and searching for a true partner that could support them across key business functions. The previous incumbent was in place for 10 years via a sole supplier agreement.

The company required a supplier that could implement an onsite resource from their selected recruitment partner, representing their brand onsite and providing support to their valued contractor workforce and internal personnel. Additionally, the supplier would need to act as a trusted and efficient payroll partner.

Challenge

The main challenges facing this project were managing the transition of contractors and getting stakeholder buy in across two business units.

Airswift Solution

Airswift was selected as partner and supplier to the project, providing a dedicated consolidation team to facilitate a workforce transition. Airswift implemented a robust process, which included face-to-face on-boarding sessions with all contractor transferees to ensure workers were on-boarded in a timely manner without disruption to the client or contractor productivity.

Results

Airswift have made over 126 transfers to date with no lapses in support to any of the transferring contractors. As a result, Airswift is one of two preferred supplies to the company on all requirements in Aberdeen and the North Sea.
