Recruitment services for Offshore Wind Project

Background

Our client is a leading EPC within offshore Oil & Gas and Energy. Airswift were specifically contacted by the client to support with supplying engineers for the project. They were awarded the contract to design and fabricate the jacket and topside for that project.

Challenges

The client faced challenges finding candidates that were able to work residentially in a remote area in Spain as well as finding candidates in line with their tight budget. They needed multiple engineers with experience working on similar HVDC projects which was a particular skillset and couldn’t be found locally.

Airswift Solution

We sourced multiple expatriate engineers for their Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and HSE department from various locations, the engineers saw the project from start to completion. We delivered on the recruitment within a very short timescale and made sure each engineer had the correct documentation to work compliantly in country.

Results

Airswift became one of the client's preferred suppliers and have since been asked to support a new project award that began in Q4 2020. This project is a 900 MW DC grid connection for clean wind energy from the North Sea
