Background

After servicing the North Sea between 2009 and 2016, the Aoka Mizu was moved to Dubai Drydocks for refit and modification in preparation for its new location West of Shetland.

Challenge

  • Strict timescales to ensure the vessel reached its next destination in a timely and compliant manner
  • Personnel were recruited and mobilized on time throughout the entire project to ensure no delays

  • Delivered destination services such as meet and greets, travel management, training, a 24-hour emergency contact, medical testing and medical assistance

Results

  • Successfully sourced and compliantly mobilized over 140 personnel across a range of discipline specialisms
  • Managed a large workforce initially in the yard, then provided complex logistics and immigration support throughout the sail away and hook-up in the North Sea
