Janette Marx

Chief Executive Officer

Janette started with Airswift in 2014 and served as the Chief Operating Officer for four years before assuming the role of CEO. Janette has a passion for investing in the development of people to help everyone achieve their aspirations. Throughout her career, she has championed new initiatives including diversification strategies, sales and recruitment growth improvements and operational efficiencies. She has led cutting edge programs to give her teams a competitive advantage.

Before Airswift, Janette was in various leadership roles with The Adecco Group over a 19-year period. Janette holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA.

Tim Briant

Tim Briant

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to Airswift, Tim was at Adecco UK and Ireland, where he was the CFO of a £2 billion business. Tim was instrumental in reorganizing and merging the back offices of three significant entities to create a single central services team. This merger created huge process efficiencies that significantly benefited cash flow, employee and customer satisfaction and subsequent organisational performance. Prior to this, Tim was CFO of the IT division in the Global Adecco organisation, a $22 billion company. Tim joined Adecco in 2009 as part of the acquisition of Spring, where he was the group financial controller and company secretary. Having qualified as a chartered accountant Tim took progressively senior roles with KPMG, before a number of group financial controller roles at UK listed companies.

Why are you passionate about what you do?
For me, it’s all about making a difference, whether that’s for the people I work with directly or our colleagues around the world, as well as how we make an impact on the world of work.

For a CFO, it is always important that we create transparency and integrity, which ultimately creates trust. We are a global organisation working in many different countries, and it’s important that we ensure we are trusted worldwide.

James Allen

James Allen

Group Operations Director

James has been with the company since 2000 and has held a variety of positions within the business including Strategic Business Development and Regional Vice President. James is currently the Central Operations Director and is responsible for the development and management of global operations, business process improvement, QA, safety, HR and the project management office.

The biggest difference is our truly global reach and international footprint. We operate in every major market, which in turn gives our customers and consultants the comfort and security that they are dealing with Airswift people directly, wherever that may be in world. Our business has and always will be about strong working relationships and trusted partnerships. Why are you passionate about what you do?
Belief! Belief in what can be achieved when the right people come together with a common purpose, vision and ambition. Being with the company for as long as I have has allowed me to experience first-hand how a collective belief in what you are going to do combined with a clear understanding of how it makes a difference can transform and grow a business. Seeing new generations of Airswift employees align with these beliefs keeps me passionate and proud of our business.

Kevin Davidson

Kevin Davidson

Managing Director - Ducatus Partners

Kevin is the Managing Director of Ducatus Partners, which is an independent executive search brand within the Airswift business that was established in 2016. Kevin has over 15 years of energy executive search experience globally. Having lived and worked in Aberdeen, Houston and now London, he has built market leading search practices around the world whilst continuing to execute senior executive and non-executive mandates. Kevin serves on the board of the RGU Foundation and has an MSC (Economics) and BA (Hons) in Business Studies.

Sam Cross

Senior Vice President - Americas

Sam has 15 years of experience in manpower solutions. He has spent most this time establishing workforce solutions for large oil and gas companies. His most notable professional achievement is establishing Airswift’s North America business unit as the most dominant provider in the energy market. His most notable personal achievement is raising four beautiful children with his wife Emma – the two tasks have left him bald, but happy.

What makes Airswift different?
Airswift has existed for people – not because of them.  Businesses come and go, careers peak and fall but the relationships are what lasts. It is this which I believe we have built the business around.

I have always been challenged by this industry. It is fast paced, dynamic and requires constant innovation to meet the needs of the market.

Managing Director - Europe, Middle East & Africa

Ford is responsible for the strategic management of Airswift’s sales, business development and operations across Europe, Middle East & Africa. With a career dedicated to recruitment and comprehensive knowledge of the EMEA marketplace, he knows how to deliver tailored and strategic manpower solutions. As a specialist in business development, negotiation, international tax, new country set-ups and client relationship management, Ford’s expertise continually proves to be essential to Airswift operations.

The focus we place on delivering those solutions that meet the diverse requirements of our clients. As a business, we are continually evolving to meet the demands of the marketplace – and this is reflected across all our service lines. Calum Smith

Senior Vice President - Asia Pacific

Calum has been with the company since 2008 and has worked for Airswift in Europe, the United States, Australia and the South Pacific. Calum has held a variety of positions within the business including Strategic Business Development, Country Management and Senior Leadership. He is currently responsible for the Australasian and Asia Pacific business units, which comprise 14 offices across 11 countries.

Larisa Katunina

Larisa Katunina

Vice President - CIS

Larisa joined the business in 2001 as Recruitment Consultant in Kazakhstan. She has opened and successfully developed more than five hubs for Airswift and is currently responsible for four regional offices and seven remote hubs. Larisa took over Kazakhstan operations in 2016 to further develop Airswift’s offices in Atyrau and Aktau.

Larisa has grown a dedicated team of oil and gas staffing professionals who have the experience and competence to support the most challenging and unique projects.

Damir Tomicic

Damir Tomicic

Vice President - Latin America

Damir joined Airswift in 2002 and currently serves as the Vice President of Latin America. He has over 17 years of experience in workforce solutions, providing staffing, recruitment and consultancy services for global oil and gas projects.

Damir is a qualified engineer with a Master’s Degree and a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Damir is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Croatian and Russian, and leads an experienced Latin American team that spans across Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina and Mexico. The team supports large energy capital projects for over 60 clients including super majors, operators, FPSOs and EPCs.

Vice President - Europe & Africa

Peter joined Airswift in 2012 as a Strategic Account Manager, where he successfully managed a group of EPC clients and secured the award on two major projects to deliver international assignment support through a sole supplier agreement. After holding a series of leadership roles, Peter was promoted to Vice President of Europe & Africa, ensuring Airswift provides an industry leading service to current and future clients, as well as driving growth across the regions in line with company and regional strategy and goals. Peter has over 20 years of business experience with the last 10 years spent specifically in manpower services within the energy market.

Kati Greenall

Kati Greenall

Vice President - Strategic Accounts

Joining Airswift in 2005, Kati has primarily focused on providing workforce solutions for clients on global multi-billion dollar projects. She has extensive experience developing strategic partnerships, which has enabled Airswift to further its major operations and delivery in both existing and new locations. Kati has over 14 years’ experience in the energy sector, and has managed large teams and regions, most recently as the Regional Director for Canada & Alaska.  She fosters a strong sales and service culture that is customer focused and solutions driven. In her current role as Vice President of Strategic Accounts, Kati develops and executes targeted growth strategies with our key global customers for major projects globally.

Safety, first, second and always!  With everyone operating safely, we can then turn to integrity.  This is the moral fiber essential to building trust.  Trust is not a matter of technique, tricks or tools, but of character.  Without it, we have no reason to continue.

Rachel Twining

Rachel Twining

VP of PMO & Global Mobility

Rachel joined Airswift in 2010 focusing on major client accounts in the US business. She quickly moved into the role of Commercial Director for the United States overseeing all operational functions and servicing established client accounts. She spent 2016 in Singapore serving as the Commercial Director for the Asia Pacific and Australasia regions. Rachel believes in a solutions oriented approach to driving increased productivity and efficiencies on all projects in the Airswift portfolio. She was responsible for leading integration efforts in the Airswift merger between Air Energi and Swift Worldwide Resources. Rachel graduated with a BA from Texas A&M University. She is a green belt six sigma and is PMP certified.

Many companies have great people, but I really think it is our belief in each other that differentiates Airswift from our competitors. We share much more than a set of common values. Everyone is supportive of each other and willing to pitch in, regardless of the situation. At Airswift, I get to work with a group of people across our organisation with one focus: improvement. Every day I get to explore various approaches to improve the way we do things and I truly love finding innovative solutions.

Shal Gupta

Shal Gupta

Group Finance Director

Shalet (Shal) has been the Group Finance Director since he joined Airswift in January 2013. Shal has an Honours degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Corporate Treasurer. Prior to joining Airswift, he spent 13 years in professional services, mostly at Ernst & Young, working with international groups in a variety of industries from oil and gas to pharmaceuticals. Shal has the technical experience of managing financial processes and systems through periods of business change.

Louise Bancroft

Group HR Director

Louise joined Airswift in 2011 working within the Europe and Africa region before becoming responsible for Human Resources across all regions. In her current role as Group HR Director, Louise partners with leadership and local HR teams to ensure that people opportunities are maxmimised and Airswift’s talent management strategy is aligned to business objectives. Louise has an MSc in Human Resource Management, a BSc in Psychology and Counselling and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Louise adopts a commercial approach and possesses a strong sense of internal and external customer focus, which helps her put people at the forefront of the company’s strategy. In her spare time, Louise loves reading, chocolate and hiking – in that order!
