Job Purpose
Provide subject matter expertise in process engineering for Studies, FEED, and Detailed Design/EPC phases of the Compression project, leading greenfield and brownfield activities. Ensure technical compliance, develop fit-for-purpose solutions, and provide guidance to EPC contractors. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize Topsides and facilities integration. Oversee deliverables, conduct technical evaluations, and address complex issues. Support project goals within budget and schedule while mentoring Qatari employees and fostering their development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Process Engineering: Oversee studies, FEED, detailed design, and EPC activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Deliver Excellence: Drive quality assurance for deliverables, including simulations, calculations, studies, and technical reports.
• Optimize Designs: Participate in design workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, etc.), ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical/Process Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in oil and gas projects, with a minimum of:
  • 10 years in process engineering.
  • 5 years in a similar leadership position.
• Extensive knowledge of:
  • Offshore (greenfield/brownfield) facilities design, construction, and operations.
  • Process engineering design standards, codes, and safety criteria.
• Experience managing Tier-1 EPC contractors on large-scale offshore platforms, pipelines, and onshore facilities.

• Supervision experience for at least 2 major FSO hull interfaces or 1 major FPSO, managing project and construction interfaces for all disciplines until mechanical completion.
• Preferably, a minimum of 2 years working experience in China.
• Good understanding of international shipyards is preferable and an added value.
• Strong understanding of schedule and resource planning.
• Fundamental understanding of concepts, principles, and practices in the oil and gas industry.

IT Support Technician – Port Arthur, TX

Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician to work within their facilities located in Port Arthur, TX on a 1-year assignment.

The IT Support Technician is responsible for end-user support, including diagnosing and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, mobile devices, AV equipment, printers, phones, applications, and other related peripherals. This role ensures prompt and thorough resolution of issues and provides single-point-of-contact accountability for technical assistance and client support to executives and other staff. The IT Support Technician communicates and collaborates with clients to support their daily business tasks, employing excellent interpersonal relationship skills, a structured approach, and a forward-thinking methodology. The position is also responsible for supporting the company's media experience, including video walls, content displays, and conference room technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical End User Support and Executive Support

• Provide first contact resolution for client issues/problems/questions per standards and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), including post-resolution follow-ups.
• Log, prioritize, research, respond, track, escalate (if needed), and resolve client issues/requests.
• Respond to client requests/issues related to installing/upgrading software, installing hardware, configuring systems/applications, supporting connectivity, and resetting passwords.
• Create and manage quality support tickets to gather necessary information, obtain approvals, update statuses, and route issues to proper teams.
• Use tools like Active Directory to manage end-user accounts, including onboarding/offboarding and account modifications.
• Provide support for smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
• Assist with client moves/adds/changes and installations of devices at new sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance for workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Offer reliable guidance and support to team members.

Support the Digital Media Environment

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems related to video and audio-based media.
• Support digital content on media players and Hiperwalls, including display configuration, troubleshooting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
• Perform support for conference room technology, enabling external conference meeting support.
• Handle change management, process documentation, development of runbooks for digital systems, and peer training.
• Support on-site installation and maintenance efforts by external vendors.

Other Support Responsibilities

• Participate in an on-call rotation during and after normal business hours.
• Rotate through client support functional areas, including service desk, desktop, executive support, and digital services.
• Recommend process improvements to optimize team resources and abilities.
• Handle project-oriented tasks for service-related improvements and changes.
• Write, maintain, and update operating procedures, process documentation, and instruction materials.
• Provide status updates to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Experience supporting Microsoft operating systems, including expert knowledge of 2008 Server, Windows 7, and Windows 10.
• Familiarity with PC and Mac hardware platforms, operating systems (Windows and Apple OS), and mobile devices.
• Proficiency with Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Office 365, and business software.
• Ability to train clients, including executives, in new technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, issue resolution, and customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated aptitude for working with digital hardware, software, and content.

Education/Experience
 

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science/MIS-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience as a Computer Support Technician supporting a 24x7 operation.
• 3 years of relevant work experience with senior-level management clients.
• 1 year of experience in digital media and audio-visual systems.
• Experience in team-oriented, collaborative environments.

CIVIL ENGINEER - JD
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

Skills and Experience:

• 10–12 years of experience in Structural Design and Construction, with at least 6 years in supervisory roles.
• Expertise in large buildings, civil, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction activities, project management, and Fit-out and renovation projects.
• Hands-on experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and hand-over activities.
• Proficient in MS Office and structural design software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including:
  • Identifying problems and crafting creative solutions.
  • Conducting preliminary designs and modeling.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and implementing preferred solutions.
• Experience in project planning, preparation of BOQs, technical specifications, tender documentation, and review of method statements.
• Ability to monitor project progress through supervision and inspection.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead Civil/Structural Engineering activities through all project phases, from design to hand-over.
• Review and validate project drawings, calculations, specifications, and materials to ensure alignment with scope and standards.
• Conduct evaluations of technical bids and participate in pre-tender meetings, providing technical and commercial recommendations.
• Approve or reject technical deviations, method statements, and variations to guidelines, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver quality outcomes within timelines.
• Oversee project implementation, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with KPIs and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical support, training, and mentorship for Associate Qatari Engineers and team members.
• Liaise with contractors to address technical challenges and resolve issues effectively.
• Participate in the inspection and takeover of leased or completed buildings and facilities.
• Ensure all activities align with project objectives, safety standards, and organizational goals.
