Contracts Administrator

The role
As a Contract Administrator, you will provide vital contract administration support to the Procurement and Contracts Manager, ensuring that all contractual requirements are met, and that project timelines are adhered to. You will be responsible for monitoring client approvals, preparing necessary documentation, and assisting Project Managers in assessing contractor payment entitlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide contract administration support as delegated by the Procurement and Contracts Manager.
- Ensure all necessary contract deliverables are received prior to the commencement of works, such as evidence of insurance and security documentation.
- Monitor and expedite client approvals of documentation deliverables to avoid disruptions to the project works.
- Prepare contract documentation in accordance with specified contractual timelines, including Variation Notices, Contract Notices for Extensions of Time Claims, Delay Claims, and Non-Conforming Works.
- Assist Project Managers in assessing contractor payment entitlements, including any set-off payments.
- Act as the main point of contact for addressing contractual issues quickly, avoiding delays and potential disputes.
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration, preferably within engineering, construction, or project management environments.
- Strong understanding of contractual processes and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve contractual issues.
