Airswift is currently looking for a Electrical Lead Engineer for one of our largest projects in Schiedam, The Netherlands. This position has a Monday-Friday schedule, and this is a staff position. Job Description
As a Discipline Lead Engineer, you are responsible for the delivery of your assigned project scope and associated technical solution, in accordance with the company management system and Standards (Processes, Technical and Engineering Standards and Guidelines) and Client requirements. For that purpose, you coordinate a team of Engineers and Designers to deliver cost-effective and competitive solutions for your discipline project scope, that maximize the value for our clients, by ensuring project execution on schedule, budget, and quality standards. You are accountable to the respective area EPM and overall EPM where relevant for the Discipline scope performance.
Accountabilities
- Take ownership to define and develop Discipline scope by understanding and evaluating the project requirements.
- Identify dependencies and obtain alignment with project stakeholders to ensure safety and quality are not sacrificed in the effort to meet project schedule
- Collaborate with the Discipline Manager and Engineering Project Manager to accurately forecast manhours, resource needs, and completion date for deliverables.
- Set team expectations for quality standards and enforce safety requirements to meet project needs, corporate standards, and industry regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- FPSO Experience
- Experience with Electrical Design and Calculations
