This position is responsible for providing technical and functional HSE support for the construction and commissioning of the Platform Topsides in Ingleside, Texas. This role will support the project team in planning and conducting safe offshore operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the project meets the pre-determined KPIs, is regulatory compliant, and is completed safely and efficiently.
Job Specifications
- The individual in this position is responsible for providing technical and functional HSE support during the construction and commissioning of the West White Rose Platform Project. This position is construction site/field based.
- This position will conduct auditing and inspection activities that will help ensure that WWRP construction contractors are meeting operations integrity objectives and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance goals. These goals and objectives will be aligned with the Operations Integrity Management System (COIMS) and the Projects Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) Standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections using the Safety Culture verification tool.
- Conduct and/or review the quality of incident investigations.
- Facilitate partnerships for safety programs where required.
- Audit the performance of contractors' safety management system.
- Coach and mentor/contractor reps in safety management and safe work practices.
- Participate in hazard and risk assessments.
- Training in the field of Health and Safety Certificate/Diploma or Degree would be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2-3 years specific experience in a prior HSE role including direct responsibility for the administration of Health, Safety, and Environment management programs for the construction, offshore, or marine industry.

- Ability to conduct audits and inspections, in addition to conducting and reviewing the quality of incident investigations.

- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements.
