Our client is seeking a Master Scheduler to work within their facilities for a long-term contract.

The Master Scheduler will be primarily responsible for planning and coordinating schedules for different turnarounds.

Job Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Efficiently plan and coordinate multiple schedules to align with a master schedule;
  • Walk down scope, verify progress, and coordinate with all parties to ensure the schedule reflects the proper turnaround status and forecast;
  • During turnarounds, schedulers will be mobilized to the field to provide daily forecasts for the management team;
  • Ensure the current status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle;
  • Develop proper scheduling infrastructure for each turnaround: activity codes, resources, WBS nodes, etc.
  • Import jobs, tie logic, code, resource load/level all work in schedule;
  • Evaluate, perform resource analysis, perform critical path analysis, and prepare reports.
Required Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of P6 Software
  • Possess strategic thinking skills and be adept at problem-solving, with a background in procurement and purchasing processes
  • TAR experience
  • Understands how to tie 6k activities together and logic that.
  • Level that schedules and tie everything to internal milestones and generate management level reports, histogram charts, indices, looking at vendors driving performance indices. 
Education/Experience:
  • At least 10 years of experience
  • Experience within the oil & gas or chemical industries.
