We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to play a pivotal role in the assessment of a 33KV line project. The primary focus will be on ensuring power supply to all devices, including pumping stations and dewatering units, with a particular emphasis on low voltage (LV) systems. This role encompasses the entire design process, from the initial basic design phase to the intricate details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an evaluation of the 33KV line, ensuring power supply to essential devices such as pumping stations and dewatering units, with a specific focus on LV systems (no HV reticulation).
- Undertake both basic and detailed design phases for the project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the design.
- Possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and standards.
- Ensure compliance with Engineers Australia requirements.
- Utilize a design engineering background, with a preference for those with experience in mining non-process infrastructure.
- Demonstrate expertise in onshore oil and gas projects (consideration will be given).
- Exhibit high energy and motivation, with a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and effective communication skills.
- Hold a recognized Electrical Engineering Degree by Engineers Australia.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Background in design engineering (not project engineer/site-based, construction/commissioning).
- Expertise in low voltage (LV) is essential.
- Preferred experience in mining non-process infrastructure; consideration will be given to onshore oil and gas projects.
