Our client is seeking a SWD Operator to work within their facilities located in Douglas, WY for an initial 1-year contract (with possibility of extension).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with HSE policies and demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and confidently to safety and environmental events.
- Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
- Perform operational checks of equipment and facilities.
- Measure and record volumes. Ensure accuracy of data received and entered.
- Coordinate truck offloads and input truck tickets.
- Develop understanding of the operation of all equipment on assigned facility.
- Identify issues and learn appropriate solutions under supervision while consulting with the appropriate Foreman.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on all equipment. Communicate corrective maintenance needs if unable to complete on own.
- Develop leadership skills and emotional intelligence while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Personal commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Assist the appropriate Foreman with minimizing LOE costs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with government officials, landowners, and third-party contractors.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- May require the ability to pass a respiratory fit test
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- Housing within 50 miles of the assigned area of operation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended period of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
- Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance.
- Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
- Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.
- Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities.
- Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
