Airswift is seeking for Valve Coordinator to work in Qatar.
  • Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
  • Location: Qatar Site
  • Working Schedule: 6 days per week / 12 hours per day or as per project requirements.
  • Contract duration: 3 months

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Valve Coordinator acts as the central communication hub between the Valves Lead and an external workshop during a turnaround. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all valve overhaul activities are aligned with the turnaround schedule, managing progress, discovery work, and obtaining necessary technical and commercial approvals from stakeholders.
  • Workshop Coordination:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Valves Lead and the external workshop, ensuring that all valve-related activities are synchronized with the turnaround schedule.
  • Progress Monitoring:
Track daily progress on valve-related tasks, ensuring timely completion in accordance with the turnaround plan.
  • Discovery Work Management:
Identify and manage any additional work required during the turnaround, ensuring all necessary approvals from stakeholders are obtained.
  • Schedule Management:
Maintain adherence to the turnaround schedule and priorities, providing updates to the workshop as necessary and escalating issues to the Valves Lead for timely resolution.
  • Material Management:
Coordinate the sourcing and delivery of materials, ensuring they are available when needed during the turnaround process.
  • Lessons Learned Documentation:
Capture and document lessons learned throughout the turnaround process to inform future improvements and operational efficiency.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in managing valve overhauls, particularly within the context of turnarounds.
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on scheduling and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
