Acoustic Modeling Engineer
Location: Nanterre, France
Contract: 12 months (renewable)
Set up: Monday to Friday

As part of a leading organization in the engineering sector, you will contribute to innovative solutions that enhance sound management and compliance across multiple projects.
Role Overview
- Conduct acoustic modeling using CadnaA software to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive acoustic documents including noise study reports, noisy equipment lists, and PA/GA reports.
- Review and assess acoustic criteria in sales and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Participate actively in HSED, Project, and Disciplines coordination meetings to align project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the HSED Lead and Acoustic Sponsor to deliver high-quality results.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and understanding standard engineering documents such as PFD, PID, Plot plans, and 3D models.
- Strong knowledge of sound pressure level, sound power level calculations, ISO 9613 standards, and acoustic treatment techniques.
- Expertise in using CadnaA software for acoustic modeling.
- Fluency in English for effective communication and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while being a proactive team player with excellent organizational skills.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in acoustics or environmental engineering are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in acoustic modeling or related fields.
