Join our dynamic team as a Storeman, where you will play a crucial role in the logistics and materials management for a leading player in the oil and gas industry. Role Overview
- Receive, physically check, screen, and prepare all incoming and outgoing cargos for storage or transit.
- Prepare required accompanying documents such as packing lists and load out sheets.
- Guide material handling equipment and direct the movement of machinery for efficient cargo handling.
- Ensure all materials are correctly packed, labeled, arranged, and secured to prevent damage.
- Maintain yard, warehouses, and containers in good working condition through cleaning and minor repairs.
- Verify contents of incoming purchase orders against receipt documents and report discrepancies.
- Support inventory takes by physically counting items and maintaining accurate records.
- Regularly check material handling and lifting equipment for operational safety.
- Carry out any other duties related to the role as assigned by the hierarchy.
Skills & Qualifications
- Material Deliveries: Proficient in managing the delivery of materials efficiently.
- Procurement Interfaces: Experience in coordinating with procurement teams.
- Materials Coordination: Skilled in organizing and managing materials effectively.
- Equipment & Materials Delivery: Knowledgeable in the safe delivery of equipment and materials.
- Warehouse Inventory Management: Expertise in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Inventory Control: Strong ability to manage stock levels and inventory accuracy.
- Materials Planning: Capable of planning materials for various operations.
- Materials Handling: Proficient in handling various materials safely and efficiently.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience (minimum 6 years).
- Certified Slinger / Banksman.
- First Aid, Firefighting, and Spill Containment training completed.
