Role Overview

  • Supervise daily operations at the AES Base to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Conduct job risk and hazard assessments to identify potential safety issues.
  • Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system and ensure implementation of HSE controls.
  • Perform regular inspections and HSE audits of facilities and equipment.
  • Oversee waste management processes, including segregation and disposal.
  • Organize and conduct HSE drills and facilitate committee meetings.
  • Investigate incidents and unsafe situations, developing corrective action plans.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of HSE equipment on site.
  • Identify training needs for personnel and organize necessary training sessions.
  • Prepare reports and maintain HSE boards and trackers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • HSE Expertise: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Material Handling: Proficient in lifting operations using cranes, forklifts, and reach stackers.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Training Ability: Strong trainer capable of conducting safety inductions and workshops.
  • Technical education or Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE supervisory roles.
  • Certifications: Licensed DG Declarant (Sea, Air, Land), First Aid, Firefighting, Waste Management, Radiation Safety, Oil Spill Containment.
