Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Air Coordinator to support the New Mexico Air Team at our Carlsbad office. This role focuses on environmental and air regulatory compliance activities, including AVO inspections, LDAR workflows, and SAP work order management.

The ideal candidate brings hands?on experience with federal and New Mexico state air regulations, along with strong organizational skills to support daily compliance operations. This position offers a collaborative office environment and plays a key role in maintaining environmental standards across active assets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day?to?day operations of the New Mexico Air Team
  • Manage and process work orders using SAP
  • Coordinate and track AVO (Audio, Visual, and Olfactory) inspections
  • Assist with LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) activities
  • Support environmental compliance tasks related to federal and state air regulations
  • Maintain documentation and tracking systems for air?related regulatory activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to environmental rules and standards
  • Provide office?based administrative and coordination support

Basic / Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Air regulatory compliance
    • Environmental regulatory processes
    • Federal and New Mexico air quality rules
    • AVO procedures
    • LDAR understanding
    • SAP work order management
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday in an office environment
  • No certifications required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Government regulatory experience (highly preferred)
  • Prior experience supporting air quality or environmental compliance programs

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Knowledge of federal and state (New Mexico) air regulations
  • Understanding of AVO inspection standards and LDAR program processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured office setting
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Detail?oriented approach to compliance tracking and documentation
