Lab Technician II – Applications Lab (La Porte Technology Center)
We are seeking a Lab Technician II to support polymer processing and sample preparation at the La Porte Technology Center. This contract role is open to entry-level candidates who are mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on lab work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain polymer processing equipment
- Prepare samples for internal projects and customer evaluations
- Conduct application testing and demonstrations
- Collect and evaluate samples; submit for analytical testing
- Maintain logs, tools, inventory, and support HSE compliance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical, math, and computer skills
- Strong communication and safety awareness
- Flexible schedule for limited overtime and weekends
