- Lead the complete design process for Stations.
- iPrepare high-level design proposals and presentations for client and stakeholder approval.
- iPerform comprehensive inter-disciplinary coordination with Structural, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire), E&M, and Specialized Rail Systems teams.
- iReview and approve Shop Drawings, RFIs (Request for Information), and Material Submittals to ensure alignment with the permanent works design.
- Conduct technical assessments on Contractor’s Claims and provide detailed technical justifications.
- Support the Cost and Contracts team in evaluating variations and commercial implications.
- Apply deep knowledge of FIDIC-based contracts to manage design-build or design-bid-build interfaces effectively.
- Develop and implement robust Site Inspection Plans in coordination with other Resident Engineers.
- Conduct and lead site inspections to ensure works adhere to approved drawings and quality standards.
- Review and approve Contractor’s Method Statements and selection of materials.
- Monitor and review the Contractor’s Program Schedule and timelines, identifying risks to the critical path.
- Act as the primary architectural liaison with Government Authorities and local municipalities for approvals.
- Ensure all designs meet international code requirements, specifically NFPA (Life Safety) and relevant International Building Codes.
- Support the Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager in daily strategic and operational activities.
