Role Overview:
The Aveva E3D Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the 3D design environment for a major offshore engineering project. This includes overseeing model integrity, coordinating multi-discipline inputs, and ensuring compliance with project standards and deliverables using Aveva E3D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and administer the Aveva E3D project environment including hierarchy, permissions, and backups.
- Coordinate 3D modeling activities across disciplines (Piping, Structural, E&I, HVAC).
- Manage catalogs, specifications, and component libraries in Aveva E3D.
- Ensure model accuracy, clash detection, and compliance with project standards.
- Integrate vendor models and laser scan data into the E3D environment.
- Support drawing production using Isodraft and Draw modules.
- Provide technical support and training to design teams.
- Liaise with IT and Aveva support for software updates and troubleshooting.
- Generate reports and data extracts for procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Maintain documentation for model setup, workflows, and user guides.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in EPC projects, preferably in offshore or FPU environments.
- Strong proficiency in Aveva E3D, PDMS, Point Cloud Manager, and related tools.
- Experience with ASME codes and piping standards.
- Familiarity with laser scan data integration and clash management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
