Business Development Manager – Mining/Process
Location: Perth CBD (On-site in the office)
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in the mining and process sectors. This role is ideal for a professional with an engineering background and a proven track record in business development within the mining industry. Based in Perth, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving strategic growth for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the mining and process industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Manage and develop a strong sales pipeline using CRM.
- Lead proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new market opportunities.
- Track BD performance and report against revenue targets.
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification (preferred but not required).
- Strong exposure to gold, copper, nickel
- Demonstrated experience in business development within the mining sector.
- Strong network in WA Mining market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Client relationship with overseas market will be a huge plus.
