Civil Inspector
Location: Brisbane (West)
Work Arrangement: WFH flexibility with site visits
Contract Type: Full-time (8 hrs/day)
About the Role
Seeking an experienced Civil Inspector on a 12-month contract. This role offers flexibility with work-from-home options but requires regular site visits, so candidates based in Brisbane or Gold Coast are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and monitor civil works related to roads, disaster recovery, landslips, and pothole repairs.
Ensure compliance with council standards and safety regulations.
Prepare inspection reports and provide recommendations for remedial actions.
Liaise with contractors, council representatives, and project teams.
Support quality assurance and risk management processes.
Requirements
Qualifications: Trade background or Engineering degree (Civil preferred).
Experience:
Roads and pavement maintenance
Disaster recovery works
Landslip remediation
Pothole and drainage repairs
Strong understanding of civil construction standards and council requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage site inspections effectively.
