Location: Talacre (UK) - Village in north Wales
Contract: 12 months (renewable)
Rotation / Set up: 5.5 days a week

Join our team as a Civil Work Superintendent and play a pivotal role in the project, focusing on Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage. This is an exciting opportunity to lead civil work activities in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while working in the thriving energy sector.
Role Overview
- Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected.
- Monitor the works performed, subcontracted or in direct hiring to ensure fulfillment of project quality and contractual requirements.
- Set up time schedules adhering to the allocated project timeframe and coordinate human and technical resources.
- Arrange for the correct and cost-effective performance of civil construction works, coordinating and controlling activities with supervisors.
- Build reports on work progress, indicating causes of deviation and proposing solutions or requesting instructions.
- Control production parameters in terms of efficiency and productivity to ensure proper workflow discipline.
- Support the resolution of civil technical problems encountered during execution.
- Manage technical and administrative documentation.
- Ensure achievement of the MC certificate according to priority and systemization done by commissioning, responsible for certification and punch list clearance.
Skills & Qualifications
- HSE: Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Complex Piping Design: Expertise in designing complex piping systems.
- Dewatering: Experience in dewatering techniques and management.
- Piling: Knowledge of piling methods and applications.
- Civil Work Supervision: Proven ability to supervise civil work activities effectively.
- Team Leading: Strong leadership skills to manage and guide teams.
Education & Experience
- Relevant diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 15-20 years of experience in project/site-based roles with significant civil work lead/management/supervision activities.
