Our client is seeking a Civil Works Supervisor, where you will play a crucial role in supervision of civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedule, budget and standards for a CCS project.

Role Overview

  • Technical Integrity of Civil Works: Ensure all civil works are executed according to project drawings and specifications.
  • Monitoring Compliance: Track civil works against project schedule and budget, addressing any deviations.
  • Validation of Progress: Verify constructed quantities and progress of civil works.
  • Material Verification: Ensure all bulk materials used meet project specifications and standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical solutions as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Witness construction tests and endorse quality check sheets as per the Quality Control Plan.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain daily records of manpower and events affecting the schedule.
  • Punch List Management: Identify and integrate civil works punch lists into the Mechanical Completion master punch list.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering: Proven knowledge in civil engineering practices: earthworks, trenching & backfilling, concrete works, mechanical completion checks.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office Package; knowledge of Mechanical Completion management software is preferred.
  • Quality Assurance: Basic understanding of QA/QC Construction Management Systems.
  • HSE Knowledge: Familiarity with Construction and Commissioning HSE requirements.
  • Construction Planning: Understanding of construction planning and monitoring processes.
  • Measurement Methodologies: Knowledge of methodologies for evaluating activity efficiency and material quantities.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Technical Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • HSE basic course (advanced preferred), HSE Certificate/License as per country/international requirements.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Oil & Gas and Refinery industry; at least 3 years in a supervisory construction role.
