Commissioning Engineer


Join our dynamic team as a Commissioning Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in the energy sector, ensuring the successful testing and start-up of systems. Role Overview

  • Ensure that systems and equipment are installed and function tested according to design specifications.

  • Monitor the execution of commissioning activities performed by the contractor.

  • Supervise superintendents and supervisors during the commissioning of OFE (Disconnectable Turret).

  • Assist the Commissioning Manager in reviewing commissioning plans and procedures.

  • Validate that systems operate safely and efficiently before handover.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) systems.

  • Ability to collect document management requirements and translate them into a fit-for-purpose document management strategy.

  • Proficient in designing, setting up, and maintaining procedures, templates, and tools for efficient work execution.

  • Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities within the overall schedule.

  • Capability to conceptualize and dimension components or system designs based on functional requirements.

  • Experience managing fabrication and construction site or offshore engineering activities.

  • Ability to perform gap analysis between strategies during different project phases.

  • Proficient in drafting and executing Inspection Plans, ensuring compliance with Quality Control Plans (QCP).

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and analyze complex engineering problems.

  • Demonstrated commitment to HSSE, Quality, Regulatory, and Process Safety Leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in commissioning or engineering disciplines are advantageous.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commissioning engineering, particularly in brownfield projects.
