Airswift is recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a major EPC project in the oil & gas sector.
This project involves the full-field development of a major upstream oil & gas field, including drilling operations feeding a new Central Processing Facility (CPF) designed to international standards. The CPF will handle oil separation, gas compression and export, condensate recovery, and produced water treatment for reinjection. Associated gas will be exported for commercialization into the regional gas grid.
Role Overview
This position will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for ensuring commissioning and operations objectives are fully integrated into the design and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Commissioning & Operations deliverables and embed commissioning objectives into the design.
- Lead a small Commissioning & Operations team based in the Leatherhead office.
Develop a wide range of high-quality commissioning documentation, including:
- Plans and procedures
- PC&C task registers
- Checklists and test sheets
- CMS setup
- Participate in engineering reviews (HAZOP, model, P&ID, plot plan).
- Collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams, client commissioning manager, and operations engineers.
- Oversee reporting, budget management, and ensure deliverables align with project schedule.
- No travel to Iraq is expected.
Requirements
- Degree (BSc/B.Eng) in Engineering or HNC in a relevant discipline.
- 15–20 years’ oil & gas experience, with strong commissioning leadership in FEED/EPC phases.
- Excellent technical writing skills and experience producing commissioning deliverables.
- Strong planning, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with OPERCOM methodology and iCAPS completions system is an advantage.
