Communication Lead
Job Purpose
The Communication Lead is responsible for developing, leading, and delivering strategic, integrated communication initiatives across digital, visual, and operational environments to support all onshore and offshore project execution activities.
The role oversees the full governance, review, and approval of all external communication and media materials, ensuring alignment with corporate communication standards, project objectives, and strict compliance requirements.
This position requires advanced capability in AI-driven video creation, professional on?site filming, visual storytelling, and high?quality written communication to enhance execution visibility, reinforce safety messaging, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Job Context & Major Challenges
- Communicating complex project execution activities across multiple channels including publications, visibility reports, digital content, and press materials.
- Creating innovative communication and branding strategies for all MP & NFPS projects.
- Operating in challenging onshore and offshore environments with strict safety, security, and compliance requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Communication Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, plan, and manage all communication activities across onshore and offshore project environments, ensuring transparency, engagement, and safety awareness.
- Oversee governance, review, and approval of all external communication materials including press releases, media statements, interviews, and visual content to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
Visual Media, Filming & AI?Driven Content
- Coordinate and execute full visual coverage of project execution including scripting, filming, photography, and field reporting across RLIC, international fabrication yards, Doha offices, industrial sites, and offshore locations.
- Lead the creation of AI?enhanced media, including advanced video production, animation, editing, subtitles, and optimization ensuring brand integrity and data accuracy.
Content Development & Knowledge Management
- Develop and manage multimedia content for internal/external audiences, digital platforms, executive presentations, campaigns, and SharePoint repositories with strong focus on organization, accessibility, and version control.
- Translate complex technical and industrial project information into clear and compelling communication tailored to diverse audiences.
- Maintain communication reports, media summaries, visual logs, and SharePoint dashboards supporting management reporting and audits.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with onshore/offshore teams to ensure all communication outputs accurately reflect operational realities, project milestones, SHES requirements, and workforce conditions.
- Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms in accordance with corporate brand and communication governance.
- Support executives and project management teams with communication planning and execution requirements.
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Communications, English Literature, Business Administration, or a related media discipline.
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Public Relations, including 5 years in Media roles.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Exceptional spoken and written English.
- Proven expertise in AI?driven video development and production.
- Strong capabilities in on?site filming (onshore and offshore).
- Demonstrated experience in visual storytelling, article writing, and publication development.
