Airswift is seeking an experienced Community Relations Officer to support one of our key clients in the O&G sector. This professional will play a vital role in managing community engagement activities, ensuring clear communication, and supporting socioeconomic initiatives across project areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide communities, groups, and local authorities with timely, consistent, and accurate information regarding project activities and operations.
- Lead public awareness campaigns and general information sessions.
- Conduct direct consultations with local communities to identify concerns, expectations, and feedback.
- Ensure that community development investments are aligned with project strategy.
- Provide guidance on potential impact mitigation measures for community-related issues.
- Prepare detailed reports on community relations activities.
- Support operational interfaces with communities to communicate upcoming activities and respond to issues raised.
- Gather and analyze information to support the development and implementation of socioeconomic programs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as:
- Socioeconomic Advisors
- Local Content Analysts
- Community Relations Advisors
Skills & Qualifications
- University degree in Social Sciences, Socioeconomics, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship?building skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and editing skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse community stakeholders.
- Experience in community engagement or socioeconomic development is an asset.
