Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Confirmations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily responsible for preparing, administering, and maintaining natural gas, crude oil, and renewable natural gas transaction confirmations for multiple entities in accordance with internal contracts, risk, and recordkeeping policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare commodity transaction confirmations ranging from basic to complex.
  • Review externally prepared confirmations, ensuring deal parameters and additional information are accurately recorded.
  • Provide backup support in preparing, maintaining, and administering confirmations for gas and crude oil activities.
  • Ensure monthly, ad hoc, and 1st-of-month pricing updates are accurately reflected in the Egistix system for Accounting’s monthly settlements.
  • Liaise with internal personnel and external counterparties to ensure accurate transaction confirmation terms.
  • Identify and troubleshoot inaccuracies in transaction confirmations.
  • Assist with audit requests and adhere to Records Management Policies.
  • Data entry and validation of transaction terms using Egistix, ICE eConfirm, and OpenLink.
  • Support Confirmation Advisors and Contract Negotiators with the drafting, reviewing, and amending of agreements.
  • Manage the Contracts SharePoint Site and facilitate the organized flow and execution of documents.
  • Enter new commodity contracts and amendments into OpenLink and manage document filing.
  • Provide auditors with detailed walkthroughs of all controls annually, reporting any Risk policy violations.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Negotiator on confirmations affected by Force Majeure.
  • Perform other analytical and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma in business/commerce or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in confirmations, commodity administration, or related fields.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter with a collaborative and flexible approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong legal background or certification.
  • Experience with Endur/Openlink, Egistix, and SharePoint.
