Construction QA/QC Inspector
Join a dynamic team in the oil and gas exploration and production sector as a Construction QA/QC Inspector. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance and control during the construction of significant offshore projects in Angola, contributing to the future of energy production.
Role Overview
HSE Compliance: Adhere to HSE training and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding company ethics and safety regulations.
QA/QC Oversight: Review and approve QC reports, ensuring compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
Testing Supervision: Ensure FAT/SIT tests are conducted according to procedures with acceptable results.
Welding and NDT Monitoring: Verify that welding and non-destructive testing are performed per qualified procedures.
Activity Logging: Maintain rigorous follow-up and logging of QC activities on-site.
Material Traceability: Ensure proper material traceability at the site.
Technical Deviation Tracking: Monitor any technical deviations from contractual requirements.
Random Inspections: Conduct regular random inspections on-site to ensure compliance.
Non-Conformity Management: Raise and follow up on the closure of non-conformities at the site.
Final Documentation Review: Review final documentation at the site for compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
QA/QC Expertise: Strong background in quality assurance and quality control processes.
HSE Knowledge: Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Portuguese is recommended.
Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of identifying technical bottlenecks and proposing solutions.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail to ensure compliance with specifications.
Multi-Cultural Collaboration: Experience working in diverse teams and environments.
Education & Experience
Education Level: HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 10 years in the Oil and Gas Industry, with at least 5 years in a similar QA/QC role.
Vocational Qualifications: TWI/CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent, advanced and conventional NDT qualifications minimum level II as per ISO 9712; NACE/FROSIO level II is optional.
