About the Role

Airswift is seeking a Contracts Engineer – Administration (CE-A) to join our client’s team for Global Projects. The CE-A will lead the administration of project contracts, ensuring effective execution of contract processes from award through close-out. This role supports the Project Leader and coordinates with Project Procurement Advisors on subcontracting matters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead contract administration activities in alignment with Project Manager and Business Manager.
  • Oversee contractor subcontracting activities, including review and approval of subcontracting plans and development from qualification through award.
  • Ensure proper flow-down of EPC terms and conditions to subcontracting documents and risk distribution.
  • Manage change control processes (amendments, change notices, change orders).
  • Provide training on claims avoidance and assist in handling contractor claims during and post-execution.
  • Prepare incentive plans for the Project Team as required.
  • Monitor contractor performance and provide feedback to project and functional management.
  • Collaborate with corporate functions (Tax, Law, Audit, Controllers, Treasurers) for reviews and endorsements.
  • Develop and execute contract close-out plans and ensure surviving obligations are understood.
  • Capture and communicate lessons learned for contract administration and subcontracting.
  • Ensure orderly turnover of contracting aspects to the operating organization.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract administration; service-contractor environments preferred.
  • Experience within large corporations or complex organizational settings.
  • Comfortable working in field or industrial environments, including remote locations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement roles, responsibilities, and business processes related to contracts.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • High initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Strong commitment to Safety, Health, and Environment standards.
