About the Role
Airswift is seeking a Contracts Engineer – Administration (CE-A) to lead contract administration activities for major projects. This role is responsible for establishing and executing contract administration processes, managing subcontracting oversight, and coordinating interfaces post-award through contract close-out. The CE-A will work closely with project leaders and procurement advisors to ensure compliance and effective contractor management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead contract administration activities, aligning responsibilities with Project and Business Managers.
  • Oversee contractor subcontracting activities, including review and approval of subcontracting plans and development from qualification through award.
  • Ensure proper flow-down of EPC terms and conditions to subcontracting documents and manage risk distribution.
  • Coordinate and manage change control processes, including amendments, change notices, and change orders.
  • Provide training on claims avoidance and assist in handling contractor claims during and post-execution.
  • Prepare incentive plans for the project team as required.
  • Monitor contractor performance and provide feedback to project and functional management.
  • Collaborate with corporate functions (Tax, Law, Audit, Controllers, Treasurers) for reviews and endorsements.
  • Develop and execute contract close-out plans and ensure surviving obligations are understood.
  • Capture and communicate lessons learned for future projects.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration, preferably in service-contractor environments.
  • Experience within large corporations or complex organisational settings.
  • Ability to work confidently in field or industrial environments, including remote locations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to Safety, Health, and Environment standards.
