Job Title: Contracts Analyst
Job Purpose
The Contracts Analyst provides comprehensive support to the Contracts Head and Leads in managing all post-award contract activities. This includes preparing formal correspondence (letters), processing change orders and variations, managing claims, and administering insurance and guarantees. The role also involves organizing and documenting bi-weekly Contracts/Change Management meetings, maintaining accurate contract registers, and assisting in issuing contractual correspondence through DocuSign.
Job Context & Challenges
- Support the administration of Offshore EPCI Contracts for Topsides and Pipelines facilities.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company standards while managing multiple stakeholders and complex change processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing contracting scenarios and strategies for effective Contracting Strategy workshops.
- Support preparation of technical bid evaluation plans, procedures, and models by providing administrative and coordination assistance.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and regulations.
- Manage post-award activities, including formal correspondence, change orders, claims, and insurance administration.
- Facilitate negotiations on change orders and claims with EPC contractors and LLI suppliers, in collaboration with Supply and Legal departments.
- Maintain up-to-date contract registers (e.g., correspondence, change management, claims, insurance & guarantees, SDRs).
- Review and issue contractual correspondence via DocuSign.
- Organize, record, and minute bi-weekly Contracts/Change Management meetings.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years in a business-related function, including at least 2 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service providers.
- Knowledge in data analytics, reporting, planning, scheduling, contracts, procurement, cost control, lessons learned, and change management.
- Familiarity with international business standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., dashboards, data analytics, SAP).
- Experience supporting large-scale integrated operations and project organizations.
