Contracts Lead - DOHA, QATAR.

Airswift is seeking for a Contracts Lead to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Job Purpose:
Provide specialist support in developing, managing, and executing complex EPC contracts for the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender packages and manage the tendering process with Supply and PMT.
- Review engineering, technical, and commercial scopes to identify and mitigate risks.
- Evaluate technical bids for high-value services and establish suitable contracts.
- Ensure contracting documents comply with financial, technical, and SHEQ standards.
- Review scope and commercial documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in contract audits and resolve any findings.
- Oversee EPC Contractor’s contract administration and ensure compliance with terms.
- Communicate with contractors on warranties, payments, milestones, and issues.
- Prepare contractual responses to the EPC Contractor.
- Ensure proper contract close-out with all obligations completed and no outstanding claims.
- Close claim-related correspondence in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Law, Project Management, or related fields.
Experience:
- 8 years of experience in a business-related role.
- Minimum 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or contractor oversight role.
- Experience in reimbursable procurement for major EPC contracts (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Analytical and reasoning skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to review and prepare technical contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business software.
