Our client is a major EPC contractor, are looking to recruit a Control System Engineer to support a Middle East client on LNG FEED project. Expertise in gas processing and LNG Conceptual, Pre-FEED and FEED projects.

Role Overview

  • Develop preliminary and final stage Instrumentation & Control (I&C) design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets.
  • Assist in the design of process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Contribute to conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED phases of projects.
  • Prepare budgetary requisitions and conduct bid evaluations.
  • Assist in the development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) with knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511.
  • Perform automation-related job functions, including creation of I/O lists and specification of instrumentation and control elements.
  • Interface with Electrical systems and Instrument interfaces.
  • Utilize experience in greenfield onshore projects.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
  • Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience.
  • Experience in instrumentation requirements for custody metering standards.
  • Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511 standards.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in control systems engineering within gas processing or LNG sectors.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience, PAYE (Inside IR35)
  • Applicants will be required in office 5 days per week.
