Position: Country Manager – Indonesia
Role Overview
The Country Manager oversees all business operations within Indonesia, ensuring strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role drives growth, compliance, and client satisfaction while positioning the company as a preferred service provider.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Business Development
- Formulate and execute strategies to grow market share, revenue, and profitability.
- Monitor client needs, market trends, and competitive activity.
- Represent and strengthen the company’s brand presence.
2. Operational Management
- Ensure safe, efficient delivery of services and contractual obligations.
- Oversee project execution, asset maintenance, inventory control, and risk management.
- Maintain compliance with local and international regulations.
3. Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure planning.
- Optimize cash flow through effective credit and expense management.
- Drive cost efficiency in procurement and supply chain.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Foster clear communication across employees, clients, vendors, and authorities.
- Share company goals and performance updates regularly.
5. Innovation & Training
- Collaborate on introducing new products and services.
- Provide feedback to support product development and continuous improvement.
6. Talent Management
- Lead recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing teams.
- Manage performance appraisals, training, and succession planning.
- Control manpower costs and ensure competitive compensation practices.
7. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
- Enforce QHSE policies, lead audits, and promote a safety-first culture.
- Ensure compliance with legal and environmental standards.
8. Leadership & Development
- Demonstrate ethical leadership and strategic decision-making.
- Encourage team spirit and continuous professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil & gas operations and business management.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Expertise in budgeting, operations, and technical knowledge of drilling fluids.
