Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst II to work on a long term contract in Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of the supply chain KPI dashboard using Power BI.
  • Extract, validate, and transform SAP MM data (tables, reports, and transactional data) to support KPI reporting needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all reporting sources.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data extraction and reporting workflows.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of processes and procedures that support ongoing KPI reporting.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles where appropriate (Lean Six Sigma experience beneficial).
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training material related to the supply chain KPI dashboard and associated processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate data meets requirements, and create clear and understandable dashboards
  • Assist in providing training and support to the organization on the use of the KPI dashboard and related tools.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain role, with a focus on data analysis and process improvement.
  • Basic Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Proficient in SAP for supply chain management.
  • Experience as a contract specialist, with a strong understanding of contract management principles.
  • Experience in inventory management a plus. Skills:
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM, including navigation of table data (e.g., MARA, MARC, MSEG, EKKO, EKPO), data extraction, and report generation.
  • Basic experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a requirement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in procedure writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Energy industry.
