Day/Night Stabilizer Multi-Skilled Operator II

7/7 rotation (includes day and night shifts)
Key Accountabilities:
- Comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE), OSHA, and Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of condensate stabilizing facilities.
- Monitor stabilizer and equipment for optimal performance.
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts; overtime may be required during turnarounds, upsets, or start-ups.
- Load/unload condensate and NGL trucks; perform sampling and testing (e.g., copper strip, BS&W shake out, Reid vapor pressure, caustic and amine samples).
- Operate oil stabilizer trains, compressors, vapor compressor units, boilers, pumps, and LACT units for pipeline delivery.
- Collaborate with Operations and I&E teams to optimize plant instrumentation controls.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, maintain housekeeping, and complete accurate records.
- Inspect tanks and piping for leaks or irregularities; take corrective action.
- Access remote locations to monitor and adjust equipment controls.
- Gauge tanks for crude oil and water transfers.
- Utilize electronic remote well supervision to optimize production and minimize safety/environmental risks.
- Enter daily volumes, well tests, downtime, and injection data into computer systems.
- Monitor production data for accuracy; report losses and resolutions.
- Optimize production and costs for new wells and facilities.
- Perform minor equipment repairs and maintain chemical injection rates.
- Complete compressor downtime reports and optimize runtime/costs.
- Operate company-provided vehicle for job duties.
- Handle regulatory tasks including agency testing, status changes, and facility numbering.
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and operational policies.

Required & Preferred Skills:
- Experience: 3–5 years in oil and gas industry
- Education: Associate’s degree or Trade Certification in Production Technology, Process Technology, or related technical field
- Intermediate understanding of fractionation principles
- Basic knowledge of gas/liquid measurement, product drying, sweetening, mechanics, and instrumentation
- Ability to use laptops and software for reporting and data entry
- Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills
- Physically able to:
- Work in extreme weather conditions
- Climb up to 30 feet
- Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull
- Use hand tools for minor repairs
- Willingness to:
- Work 7/7 day and night shifts
- Travel up to 10% annually
- Work weekends and be on call
- Ability to respond to alarms and follow verbal/written instructions
