Based primarily in our Brisbane CBD office, this role will require regular site visits to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design development of residential projects, ensuring functional, aesthetic, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants to refine design details for constructability.
  • Review architectural plans and technical documentation from project consultants.
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and planning requirements.

  • Lead design coordination meetings to encourage collaboration and resolve any design-related challenges.
  • Optimize material selections to balance aesthetics, durability, and budget constraints.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or design integrity.
  • Contribute to costings and lead the value management process.
  • Manage the review of the design for regulatory compliance, and coordinate with design disciplines to prevent issues during construction.
  • Develop professional relationships with internal teams, consultants, and the on-site construction team.
  • Lead the submission of authority approvals throughout the development and construction process.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Preferred: QBCC licence in building design.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in design management and architecture, preferably in residential construction.
