One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Document Control to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking a Capital Project Administrator with a strong background in engineering administration and document control to join our team at a major facility in the Deer Park area. This role involves supporting capital projects through meticulous administrative, organizational, and technical tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in document control, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of project support within the Oil & Gas or EPC industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform document control tasks, including receiving, filing, and managing project documentation, engineering drawings, and reports.
- Support engineering teams with Excel-based project reports, utilizing V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Compile and manage timesheets for various contractors.
- Enter and update project data in databases accurately and efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing project-related documentation.
- Coordinate communications between managers, contractors, and onsite teams.
- Maintain organization and ensure timely execution of project-related administrative responsibilities.
Requirement:
- 5-10+ years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within EPC, onsite owner experience, or the Oil & Gas industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with document control processes.
- Familiarity with plant outages, project controls, or capital project administration is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative roles within Capital Projects or supporting engineering teams.
- Knowledge of project management software and databases.
