Document Controller
Duration: 12 months initially

Position Overview
This position supports the development phase of a major LNG project with high standards for document integrity and control. This position is responsible for performing Document Control duties at the assigned Milan office, ensuring secure and compliant management of documentation throughout the project life cycle, in alignment with corporate, affiliate and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective application of the project document control processes, procedures, standards and tools.
- Accountable for the maintenance of Document Distribution Matrix(s).
- Interface with the Document Management Manager and EDMS administrator for issue resolution.
- Deliver efficient, effective, and secure control of project information including document capture, quality assessment, coding, updating, review routing and distribution.
- Responsible for the integrity and completeness of project information within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Assure compliance of documentation and attributes with project information delivery requirements and business needs.
- Interface with contractor document control teams to assure delivery standards are met.
- Respond to project team information and document queries and status requests.
- Support activities related to information handover to Operations or other recipients post project.
- Assure integrity and accuracy of the company and contractor master document registers.
- Contribute to project lessons learned in accordance with company best practices.
- Provide necessary checks and approval functions for invoices submitted in alignment with contracts, project and company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum education requirement of High School Diploma.
- At least 5 years' experience in major oil and gas projects as a document controller.
- Relevant professional experience in at least two different job roles related to engineering or supplier document control on projects or business assets, ideally operator-based with full lifecycle exposure.
Key Competencies
- Experience with electronic document management systems, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and scanning tools.
- Proven ability in supplier final documentation such as manufacturers record books, quality record books and catalogues.
- Fluent English required; French and Portuguese language skills advantageous.
