Airswift is seeking a Drilling Engineer to work in a contractor position in Guyana (28-day onshore rotation) with a leading company in the energy sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide the engineering planning, design, supervision, and monitoring necessary for the safe and efficient drilling and completion of drilling programs.
Ensure that objectives are achieved while applying the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.
Provide technical expertise in drilling engineering to the Operations and Development teams.
Prepare Drilling Design Basis documentation, including Casing Design, Torque/Drag, and Hydraulics
Develop functional specifications and scopes of work for equipment and services
Continuously strive to improve regional construction performance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
Industry experience with well planning and execution
Industry experience in deepwater drilling operations to fill a deepwater drilling engineering position
Experience with well design software and Microsoft applications
Read, write, and speak fluent English
