Drilling & Wells Equipment coordinator

We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a
Drilling & Wells Equipment coordinator.This is residential contract to be based in Qatar.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with Completion and Well Services equipment assembly make-up and QA/QC requirements.
- Operations: 5 years’ experience in operational environment, Al-Shaheen experience is preferred.
- Well-developed analysis and reporting skills.
- Extensive experience with SAP processes.
Experience:
Familiar with Supply Chain Management processes, procedures and systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both unaided and/or part of a team
- Flexible approach and proactive in looking for alternatives and solutions.
- Strong communication skills to ensure information is passed within teams onshore & offshore
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- The job holder assists the Equipment Specialist and Senior Well Equipment Technologist with coordination of Completion and Workover Sub-Assemblies Makeup and Pressure Testing to provide safe and efficient Completions and Well Services equipment preparations as per D&W equipment handling guidelines and Warehouse operations procedures.
- Liaise with QAQC and Contractors for Completion equipment preparation and inspection.
- HSE
- Demonstrate Personal commitment to the company HSE Policy.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards
- Actively participate in Company safety awareness and embed IF mind set and HSE Golden Rules on day to day activities.
Main Activities
- Coordinate Completions & Workover Sub-Assembly Makeup and Pressure Test and prioritization of jobs.
- Close communications with D&W Equipment Specialist and Senior Well Equipment Technologist on the preparation of completion equipment for rigs.
- Close communications with D&W Equipment Specialist and Senior Well Equipment Technologist for discrepancies on assemblies and service SAP PO required.
- Creates PO for Sub-Assembly MU&T, inspection and retest in SAP.
- Liaise with equipment vendor (service company) for equipment inspection, function testing and MU&T supervision.
- Manage Sub-Assembly and Completion accessories inventory (storage, assign to wells, backload management, maintenance, redress, repair, etc.).
- Liaise with third party QAQC for Sub-Assembly witnessing and inspection at vendor’s site
- Responsible for creating and follow-up on NCR’s and Lesson Learnt related to Completion & Workover equipment onshore (Warehouse storage, transportation, handling, make-up, pressure test, loading, SIT, etc.).
- Work closely with D&W Warehouse Team Lead on preparation of equipment load outs.
- Participate in weekly Duty and maintain clean desk.
