Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrical Maintenance Technician to support field electrical maintenance operations, including lighting, air conditioning, and motor systems. This role involves executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to production and maximum operational availability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
In addition to Level 1 and 2 responsibilities, a Level 3 Technician will:
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors as needed
- Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) procedures for plant modifications
- Apply technical skills efficiently while identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings
- Uphold high SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental) standards and promote a culture of safety
- Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe practices
- Participate actively in responsible waste management initiatives
- Attend and contribute to daily operations shift meetings
Basic / Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry
- Valid Jornemays Electrical License (required)
- Relevant discipline certifications or equivalent professional experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and suggest solutions
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environments, even without direct authority
- Adaptability to tight deadlines, high workloads, and shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
