Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response & Crisis Management Advisor to lead preparedness and response activities across multiple operational sites. The role involves developing and maintaining emergency response plans, training teams, organising drills, and ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update Emergency Response Plans and associated documents.
- Implement and maintain an Incident Management System aligned with regulations and company standards.
- Manage Business Continuity Plans and contingency arrangements.
- Organise and coordinate emergency response training and exercises.
- Support Incident Management Teams during emergencies and act as deputy to the Incident Commander when required.
- Maintain emergency response facilities and integrate digital tools into crisis management processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in crisis management and emergency response.
- Strong knowledge of IMS and ICS (ICS 300 certification is a plus).
- Experience in oil spill response and managing risks in construction, aviation, marine, and wildlife contexts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; Portuguese and French are advantageous.
- Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
