About the Role

Airswift is seeking an Aboriginal Affairs Coordinator to support our client, a leading energy company, in their stakeholder engagement and cultural heritage activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong coordination skills, and is passionate about supporting Traditional Owner engagement and environmental approvals.


Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement & Admin Support

  • Provide coordination support to the Aboriginal Affairs Manager and team.
  • Manage invoice payments via GEP and Green Form requests, including vendor setup.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Consultation Coordination

  • Transcribe and record stakeholder meetings and messages into InteractionHub (iHub).
  • Prepare consultation summary reports and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage the consultation inbox and coordinate responses to Environmental Plans (EPs).
  • Maintain stakeholder contact details in iHub and other tools.
  • Organise meetings, events, and visits (including travel to regional Australia).
  • Liaise with internal teams (HES, Supply Chain, Asset Development, Capital Projects).

Cultural Heritage & Logistics

  • Coordinate travel for Traditional Owner survey participants and Chevron personnel to Barrow Island.
  • Work with the flights team to secure bookings and update profiles.
  • Ensure compliance for site access and communicate travel arrangements.
  • Build relationships with TO group staff to support logistics and invoicing.
  • Maintain the Survey roster spreadsheet and assist with planning.
  • Arrange heritage supplies and shipments to site.
  • Organise VIP trips for TO groups, including charter aircraft logistics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in coordination, stakeholder engagement, or administrative support.
  • High attention to detail, especially in data entry and reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Flexibility to travel for stakeholder meetings as required.
  • Familiarity with systems like iHub and GEP is advantageous.
