Recruiting for our global Offshore Energy client for an Engineering Project Engineer role, where your expertise will drive the successful execution of engineering projects in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in FPSO / Brownfield Ofshore projects and a Mechanical or Process discipline is preferred.

Role Overview

  • Deputy Function: Act as deputy to the Engineering Project Manager, ensuring continuity of leadership and project momentum during absences.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Ensure alignment across engineering disciplines for timely and quality delivery of design packages and documentation.
  • Technical Integration: Support integration of engineering deliverables with project execution plans, safety studies, and digital tools.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical and execution issues, propose mitigation strategies, and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, interface matrices, and progress reports; contribute to lessons learned and change management.
  • Support to Engineering Project Management: Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring engineering scope, technical reviews, and milestone tracking.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple disciplines across various EPC project phases.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools/resources.
  • Proactive, methodical, and highly organized. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • FPSO industry experience preferred.
  • Background in process or mechanical engineering (other backgrounds considered).

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Relevant project engineering expertise, preferably within the FPSO sector.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive PAYE monthly salary, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Full-time contract for an initial duration of 12 months.
