Join our dynamic team as an EPCI Fabrication Manager and lead the charge in delivering high-quality fabrication solutions for a major offshore engineering project. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant contract, contributing to the advancement of the oil and gas industry while based in the beautiful El Gouna, Egypt.
Role Overview
- Provide project management and leadership for the Fabrication Team throughout all project phases.
- Monitor, review, and manage all aspects of the fabrication scope to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, technical specifications, quality standards, and HSES requirements.
- Establish the Fabrication Team structure, including an organization chart and mobilization/demobilization plan.
- Implement appropriate processes and workflows to support all fabrication activities.
- Define, coordinate, and oversee tasks involving external consultants and contractors as required.
- Ensure compliance with project technical requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose fabrication solutions.
- Lead resolution of fabrication scope interface issues promptly and cost-effectively.
- Oversee HSSE performance and compliance across all fabrication activities.
- Maintain high standards of Quality Assurance and Quality Control throughout the fabrication scope.
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent in English, with the ability to represent the project professionally and confidently to all stakeholders in an organized manner.
- Team leadership and management skills in major fabrication workscopes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess fabrication work packages and contractor capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes and project execution plans.
- Expertise in managing HSE requirements within fabrication activities.
- Ability to implement corrective measures for performance issues proactively.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in managing major fabrication workscopes.
- At least 20 years of proven track record in oil and gas fabrication activities.
- Secondary education qualifications required..
