Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Cathodic Protection Engineer and play a crucial role in safeguarding infrastructure within the energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major onshore and offshore projects in the heart of Paris, France, while contributing to innovative cathodic protection solutions.
Role Overview
- Review and analyze contract documents during proposal phases.
- Provide clarifications to clients and qualifications.
- Write conceptual design cathodic protection philosophy.
- Evaluate required material quantity during FEED/EPC projects.
- Produce cathodic protection engineering documents such as design philosophy, material specifications, design calculation notes, and material requisitions.
- Develop site survey specifications and precom/com procedures.
- Participate in technical bid analysis of material suppliers and inspections.
- Create typical, general arrangement, and schematic drawings in coordination with CP specialized draftsmen.
- Engage in site surveys and follow-up on construction, precom, and commissioning activities with dedicated teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluency in English (spoken & written).
- BOSIET certification (OPITO + CA EBS).
- Expertise in designing cathodic protection systems using sacrificial anodes and impressed current.
- Strong communication skills to interact fluidly with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients.
- Autonomy, rigor, and dynamism in work approach.
- Teamwork orientation and ease in communication.
Education & Experience
- Master level Engineer in Technical Sciences with a specialization in cathodic protection.
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in cathodic protection.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC).
