Job Title: Field Facilities Engineer

Work Schedule: rotation 28/28

Functional report: Facilities/Process Safety/Measurement Supervisor

Job Description:

  1. Act as the liaison between Field Operations and the Onshore Engineering team.
  2. Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to enhance the reliability and integrity of processes.
  3. Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and daily operations of equipment related to the process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct daily surveillance of processes and maintain regular interaction with onshore Facilities Engineers.
  2. Maintain a prioritized worklist in alignment with Asset leadership and onshore Facilities Engineers.
  3. Support all the efforts associated with LTI (leading risk screening, Field status updates)
  4. Support troubleshooting of operational issues and facilitate technical response and recovery with the appropriate onshore or remote technical teams.
  5. Assist onshore/remote technical teams in developing resolution plans for field performance deficiencies and bottlenecks.
  6. Support emergency facility modifications and repairs, adhering to the Management of Change process.
  7. Serve as the focal point for resolving technical queries requiring field information, including MOCs, projects, and material specifications.
  8. Lead QA/QC activities, including PSSRs and MOCs.
  9. Participate in and contribute to facilities and systems reviews and resolutions, such as P&ID, HAZOP, Risk Screening, FEI, and Risk Assessments.
  10. Engage in field-based activities to support systems completion, turnover, pre-startup safety reviews, and startup.
  11. Participate in facility incident investigations and resolutions, including RCFA and LOPC release calculations.
  12. Perform site surveys and field measurements to gather data for project scope definition.
  13. Identify and report system enhancements, debottlenecking opportunities, and process optimizations.
  14. Collaborate with other disciplines to develop comprehensive engineering solutions.
  15. Learn from field events to improve operating procedures and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  1. > 5 years of experience minimum in Engineering roles, preferentially on one or multiple disciplines involving:  Facilities, Integrity, Process Safety, Machinery.
  2. Capable of interpreting Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs, cause & effect diagrams, and troubleshooting facilities issues
  3. Experience with root cause analysis and incident investigation processes
  4. Maintain qualification for Offshore based role
