Airswift is searching for a Field Trainer to work on a long-term assignment with one of our clients in the Slope, AK.

Job Functions:
- Develop a quarterly Training Calendar
- Work with safety specialists and operations to understand up-coming work scopes and timelines to identify training needed ahead of work starting
- Work with safety specialists and operations to identify broader training needs and collaborate to fill training gaps
- Run DEEP training status reports to identify ILT assigned to employees and schedule needed classes at regular intervals throughout the year.
- Publish a quarterly training calendar of ILT offerings in the field
- Ensure training classes are set-up in DEEP and available for enrollment
- Work with the DEEP training coordinator to set-up courses with adequate enrollment windows
- Provide the training coordinator with information required to set up training events in DEEP and communicate enrollment availability to the field
- Ensure contractors or enrolling in Induction and Bootcamp trainings
- Network with contract companies to ensure they know requirements for training and dates available.
- Spot check contract crews to verify the contract teams are sending their employees to training.
- Work with construction and operations foremen to set the expectation that they reinforce induction and boot camp attendance with their contractors
- Ensure QR e-roster completion by trainees
- Walk trainees through the QR e-roster completion at the end of each class to ensure accurate information is captured for credit
- Spot check the QR e-roster Power BI at regular intervals to ensure trainees are credited
- Training Content Development
- Identify inadequate, outdated, ineffective training content and develop an improvement plan
- Seek input from safety and operations SME’s, consult and leverage available industry training resources (such as ASA, OSHA, etc.)
- Modify existing content and create new content, as appropriate, to improve engagement and knowledge retention
- Actively Develop Knowledge/Training Acumen
- Embed with safety and operations as much as possible to understand work scope details and job functions to aid in creating quality training content
- Become knowledgeable in OSHA and Hilcorp technical training content requirements.
- Training Analytics and Continuous Improvement
- Become proficient with running DEEP training completion reports, using the DEEP Training Dashboard, and QR e-roster PowerBI to answer high-level questions from the field
- Develop metrics to track and measure your own training effectiveness and propose process/system improvements to provide efficient, relevant training.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years experience delivering professional, industrial, adult training
- 4yr college degree or equivalent technical/training certification
- Experience in developing technical training content desired
